Frequently Asked Questions.

  "Do you take my insurance?"

"Thank you for asking! We are a self-pay therapy clinic. Let me explain why:

Focused, Personalized Care: By not going through insurance, we can design therapy plans tailored specifically to your child's unique needs without restrictions or limitations imposed by insurance providers.

  1. Transparent Pricing: Our self-pay model ensures you know exactly what you're paying for, with no hidden fees or unexpected costs after sessions.

  2. Flexibility and Efficiency: We avoid the lengthy approval processes and paperwork required by insurance companies, which helps us schedule sessions faster and spend more time focusing on therapy rather than administration.

We understand this might not be the right fit for everyone, but we're happy to provide superbills for reimbursement if your insurance accepts these.

“Does my child really need speech therapy?”

“If you notice your child is difficult to understand, has trouble following directions, or has delayed social communication, your child may benefit from speech therapy. Below are some topics to consider.”

90% of boys and girls can articulate consonant sounds, however not all children develop at the same time and in the same way.

If you notice, for example, that your child substitutes /f/ for /th/ or /t/ for /k/ your child may have a delay that articulation therapy can address.

Expressive Language comes in many forms. Gestures, facial expression, vocabulary, and even asking questions. Receptive Language is the flip side of this coin; the ability to understand words, expressions, and concepts.

If you notice that your child struggles to “get their point across” when speaking to others and/or they have trouble following verbal directions and answering “WH” questions language therapy may benefit your child.

Children who have a difficult time dressing, writing, using utensils and other fine motor activities can benefit from working to refine these skills in occupational therapy.

Specialized focus on coordination and fine motor skill promote independence in children experiencing these delays.
